Click on "companies and industries", then on "sector list " to find a list of 28 sectors that encompass more than 300 industries. Clicking on any of the links will take you to industries within that sector. Click on any of the industry groups and you will find a list of companies around the world that are categorised by Hoovers.

Click on a company and you will find a short synopsis of the company's main activities, main competitors, key people, fiscal year end, and links (if available) to the investor relations section of the company's web site. You will also find which index (or indices) it is listed in.
